The short version
We collect only what is needed to run SafariScan: account details, the questions and searches you send to Simba, purchase and subscription records, and limited service data. Visitors can check public Scan Scores without an account. We do not sell personal data.
What we collect and why
Account details help create and secure your account. Questions and destination searches you send to Simba are used to answer them. Purchase and subscription records provide the product you chose. Limited technical data helps keep SafariScan secure and reliable. Optional analytics are used only with consent where required.
What we do not do
We do not sell personal data, track your device's physical location, or use personal data for individually targeted partner placements. Payments are processed securely by Stripe.
Service providers
Carefully selected providers help us operate account access, secure data storage, payments, AI answers, email delivery and site reliability. They may process data only for those purposes and under appropriate contractual and international-transfer safeguards.
How long we keep information
Account information is kept while the account is active. When deletion is requested, we erase or anonymise personal information within 30 days unless the law requires longer. Transaction records may be retained where needed to provide the service or meet legal obligations. You can request deletion of eligible personal information at any time.
Your rights
Under applicable data-protection law, you may ask to access, correct, export, restrict, object to the use of, or delete your personal information. Email info@safariscan.com. We aim to respond within one month. You may also complain to Spain's data-protection authority, the AEPD.
Cookies and local storage
Essential technologies keep accounts and core features working. Optional analytics or marketing technologies, if introduced, will be used only after consent where required.
Children
SafariScan is for people aged 16 and over. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us so we can investigate and remove it.
